Q1. Which versions of QuickBooks are supported?
A1. We support all versions of QuickBooks Premier and Pro 2003 through 2008 as well as Enterprise 4.0 through 8.0
Q2. Will I be able to print from QuickBooks when I use your service?
A2. Yes. You and your client will be able to print from the Personable Virtual Desktop, it supports all types of printers, including network and wireless printers.
Q3. Will I be able to use my QuickBooks company file offline?
A3. Yes, you have the ability to download any company file(s) stored on our servers onto your local system and open it from QuickBooks installed on your computer
Q4. Which features of QuickBooks will I be able to use?
A4. Our service allows you to use all the functions of QuickBooks, just like you would if you installed QuickBooks on your computer
Q5. What type of computer do I need, in order to use your QuickBooks Hosting service?
A5. Minimum Hardware & Software Requirements:
- Internet Explorer 6.0 with Active X controls enabled
- Windows ME, 2000, XP, Vista
- Pentium III 500 MHz
- DSL, Cable Modem
Q6. Can I use your service if I have a Mac?
A6. Yes, you are able to use QuickBooks Hosting service as long as you have PC emulation software such as Virtual PC
Q7. How do I know that my data will be secure?
A7. Personable Inc. adheres to the same security standards and encryption used in financial industries. Files stored on our servers are backed up daily.
Q8. What is the cost of your hosting service?
A8. QuickBooks Pro Hosting Service is $198/month for 5 users and a one time setup fee of $95. Each additional user is $39/month with a one time setup fee of $25. Give us a call and see what promotions we have at this time.
Q9. How much is the daily backup service?
A9. Yes. The daily backup service is available for our clients as an additional service ($65/month). We backup everything that you store on the server drive, regardless the number of files, clients or size of data. The daily backup is performed at midnight PST and stores your data into tapes with 30 days retention period.
Q10. What is private label service and how much does it cost?
A10. The private label service gives your client the look and feel of your website by using creating a custom login page which displays your logo and will continue to display your logo after the user logs in. The cost of this service is $150/month with a one time setup fee of $500.
Q11. Does Personable hosts any other applications besides QuickBooks?
A10. Yes, we host Microsoft Office, Goldmine, Adobe Acrobat, SourceLink and much more. If you have a program that you want us to host for you, please let us know.
