Users access a patented Account Manager that shows them a list of available applications.  When linked up, the application logic continues to run on Personable.com's servers, while only keystrokes and mouse clicks are transmitted from the client.

Personable.com intends to offer the service directly and also sell the technology to ASPs in other markets.

Its first data center goes live this week in El Segundo, Calif.; another center, in Reston, Va., will begin offering the service by February.  Other centers are planned for Seattle, Chicago and Florida. ...
