Personable Inc. Unveils SourceLink(R) Management Edition for QuickBooks(R)
02.06.07, 8:11 AM ET

Personable Inc. (Personable), Gold Developer of Intuit(R) (Nasdaq:INTU), today announced the release of SourceLink Management Edition 4.1 (ME) allowing QuickBooks managers unprecedented management solutions through the setup of rule-based operations and strong authentication. Including all the features of SourceLink 4.1 Standard Edition (SE), SourceLink 4.1 ME supports QuickBooks Pro, all Premiers, and Enterprise Editions from 2004 to the 2007 versions. SourceLink 4.1 ME supports both workstation and server environments. In addition, SourceLink 4.1 ME supports QuickBooks Canadian Edition from 2004 and up.

"Over the years QuickBooks managers have agonized over the management of key transactions within their daily business operations," explains Benjamin Chou, President of Personable. "Those days are over with the arrival of SourceLink 4.1 ME. Whether you want to manage Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable entries, SourceLink 4.1 ME provides the essential approval and decision making tools for running a successful business."

At $289 per license, QuickBooks managers can now use the rule- and/or role-based approach to support auditable and enforceable processes, which can be applied to account management and fraud prevention. SourceLink 4.1 ME monitors QuickBooks entries automatically. In short, SourceLink 4.1 ME permits appropriate QuickBooks transactions, and generates approval requests to managers to get permissions.

"SourceLink Management Edition empowers QuickBooks managers to monitor financial transactions," said Doug Sleeter, President of The Sleeter Group. "Now you can have QuickBooks 'phone home' whenever someone violates company policy."

There are more than 3 million small business customers and more than 250,000 accountants who use and support QuickBooks. With SourceLink 4.1 Management Edition, QuickBooks managers can easily gain valuable insight into A/P and A/R business activities, make real-time changes and ensure sound decisions through the simple implementation of SourceLink Management Edition 4.1 ME.
