MS Office 2000
Q1: Can I use templates for Microsoft Office, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word? YES, as long as the template is stand-alone and does not require to be installed, then templates will work.
Q2: Will I be able to login to the service, open the Word application, and log off so I can use the Word application offline? NO, doing so would cut off the user connection to our servers that hold the application. In essence, the Word application is not installed on your local computer.

Q4: If I have an older Word document saved on Word 95, will I be able to see the file on my virtual desktop? YES, Office 2000 is backwards compatible.
Q5: If I have a file saved in a “WordPerfect” format, will I still be able to see and modify the file on my virtual desktop? YES, Office 2000 can read multiple different formats.
Q6: How can I make Outlook 2000 work on my virtual desktop? There are four steps to make Outlook 2000 work on your virtual desktop:
1. In the Microsoft Outlook Setup Wizard choose Internet E-mail
2. Click on Setup Mail Account
3. Do the personal configurations from the General tab and Servers tab, and click Apply and then OK
4. When the Wizard prompts to enter the path for personal folder file (.pst), click on Browse, direct it to anywhere within your "P or Q" drive.
Q7: How do I transfer Outlook information from my local computer to Outlook 2000 in the virtual desktop? If you are currently running MS Outlook:
Do a search on your computer for mailbox.pst. Upload this file to your P:\ drive on your virtual desktop. Note: .pst files can be fairly large, you may need to purchase more hard drive space.
If you are currently running Outlook Express:
For Transferring Messages:
Go to File, Export, Messages, follow the steps, and export all your information into a mailbox .pst. Next, take this file, and upload it into your P:\ drive.
For Transferring Contacts:
Go to File, Export, Addresses, export it as CSV (comma separated values) and import this file from Outlook 2000.
