It means you need to upgrade your "Macintosh Runtime Java"(MRJ) environment. You are probably using Mac OS 8.5 or 8.6. In which case your MRJ is too old. You can upgrade your MRJ at http://developer.apple.com/java/download.html
Q3: Even though I have a 56K modem, I can’t seem to connect with the Java client or through a Macintosh.
