If you are getting certificate error message in ScanWriter or SourceLink, please follow the instructions to update the certificate.



You are required to download updated version - ScanWriter 2016 - to update the certificate.

1. Close QuickBooks.
(** NOTE: Due to the SourceLink error messages, SourceLink may be still running even after QuickBooks is closed. Make sure to check in TaskManager and close SourceLink process.)

2. Please download the file from the following link:

3. Open QuickBooks with Company ‘ADMIN’ account

4. At the 'QuickBooks - Application Certificate' message, please select 'Yes, whenever this QuickBooks company file is open'

5. If the Application Certificate is not showing, go to Edit->Preferences->Integrated Applications->Company Preference tab->Delete every ‘SourceLink’ entires. And then, close and re-open the company file.
